Why do I see dBFS?
dBFS describes the digital microphone signal. It is not an environmental sound-pressure reading. Use Settings → Reference adjustment with a reliable external reference and steady sound before interpreting readings as sound pressure. Adjustments apply to a particular input and weighting; a new microphone may require a new adjustment.
The microphone does not start
Open iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and enable Still. Calls, other audio apps or a disconnected microphone can interrupt a measurement. Return to Still and check its state before continuing.
Restore the full version
In Still, open Settings → Full version → Restore purchases. Use the Apple Account used for the original purchase and an internet connection. The full version is a non-consumable, one-time purchase with no subscription. The displayed price is provided by your local App Store.
Where are my measurements?
Open the sound journal from the meter. Saved measurements stay on this iPhone; the current version does not sync them between devices. Export important records before deleting the app. An interrupted session may offer a recovery copy.
Can I use Still for official assessments?
Still is not a certified sound level meter. It has not been validated as an occupational, regulatory or medical instrument. Reference adjustment does not establish compliance or certified accuracy. Use suitable calibrated equipment for decisions that require certified measurements.
